Bonolo’s passion for transformation in education is complimented by her technical expertise which she acquired when she worked as an IT engineer at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls which also influenced her decision to become an educator. In her role as a Microsoft Teacher Ambassador, a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and a Microsoft Master Trainer, Bonolo has trained teachers in various learning environments on how to use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning experiences. This includes developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills in learners through teaching them how to code at a young age. Bonolo also encourages multimodal learning by providing interactive learning content and enriched learning experiences through a Virtual and Augmented Reality platform. As a certified NLP (Neuro- linguistic programming) practitioner, Bonolo strives to bring change in our learning ecosystems by empowering people with the necessary skills and knowledge to grow in both a personal and professional scale through mindset change and behavioural patterns that result in desired outcomes. Bonolo holds a B.Tech in Information Technology (Tshwane University of Technology), a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education (Vaal University of Technology) and is currently in pursuit of a Master of Education in ICT degree (University of Johannesburg) In recognition of her leadership and contribution to the field of Education, Bonolo had been conferred an EduTech Leadership Award at the Global EduTech Congress and is a winner for Inspiring Fifty Award 2019, a platform that brings more visibility to the achievements of women in the innovation and technology sector.
